Yes it is. A block of suitable depth has to be fixed to the coach floor to locate the draught box at correct height. It will usually be necessary to cut a notch in the bogie frame to avoid this fouling the draught box. Alternatively on Bachmann bogies with a moulded on coupler, it is also possible to mount the draught box on top of the extension that terminated in the moulded on coupler. Whichever method is used it may also be necessary to trim the bottom of the bufferbeam and/or corridor connector faceplates to clear the shank and knuckle.
