A great piece of track of course with all motors concealed i have a Kato Scissors cross over and would like some advice how to incorporate it in a DCC layout such and where to place feed to the track and isolation, is a reversing unit needed for it ?
Also has anyone replaced the switch provided with something else such as a toggle SPDT ?

Many thanks.

QUOTE (poliss @ 31 Aug 2008, 12:39) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Alan Gartner shows how to wire the scissors crossover for DCC operation. http://www.wiringfordcc.com/switches_kato.htm
There's also a short FAQ on the Digitrax website. http://www.digitrax.com/kb/index.php?a=720
You can make your own switches for Kato Unitrack by following the instructions on this DCCWiki. http://www.dccwiki.com/Turnout_Motors
