QUOTE (Brian Considine @ 26 Jun 2008, 11:57) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>They have quite a large "footprint" - the Roco ones are smaller & much easier to fit because of it - give you a NEN pocket to fit the couplings of your choice.

Fleischmann also make a conversion that has an even smaller "footprint" but you can only fit the Profi Coupling to it.

Have Roco stopped making the coupler head to fit the Fleischmann unit? I also use the Gutzold unit, but it seems to be as rare as Hens teeth! both have the advantage of being able to slide the coupler head up and down to the height you require.

QUOTE (Brian Considine @ 26 Jun 2008, 13:53) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi David,

I'd forgotten about that one - it's still available ;
40281 - with the FLM pin mounting
40286 - with the Ade "short NEM"
40287 - with the std NEM

also the coupling conversions are ;
40343 - for two axel vehicles
40344 - for bogie vehicles

all on page 257 in the 2007/8 catalogue.

Hi Brian,

You could have made my day, is 40286 Ade type still available? if so I am very interested.
