Has anybody here got any experience of DCC accessories from LDT? They appear to be a good source of accessories which provide S88 bus feedback and they have decoder modules specifically designed for DC point motors such as Fulgurex.

s88 has been around in continental Europe for many years - it certainly isn't new.

We've developed a driver for our SSI software (http://www.gppsoftware.com/ssi) software to control the LDT s88 feedback system.

As a system goes, I think the LDT s88 system is quite good in principal, but s88 is limited to a daisy chain arrangement as it isn't suitable over long distances.
We also built the RFID reader into our driver as well so that you can get a true train describer on a layout panel.
