I have recently acquired a beautiful Lima class 20 from Ebay, and have found out that the drive shaft from the motor to the drive wheel is missing. I have tried to get a replacement but after searching the web i have failed to find one. Could anyone point me in the right direction.
Thanks simon

Hi Simestone.
I pulled this off the Hornby site a while ago:

Announcement Posted: 21/09/2005

For Lima spares, contact:

Tel/Fax: 01949 850063

Please note, this is not a trade premises - enquiries should be made by telephone/fax or by post with a s.a.e.

Additionally, the following retailer is offering a servicing/repairs service for Lima locomotives:
MR & ME World of Models

I hope this is of some use!

I would return loco to the seller and ask for a full refund as the loco clearly is a non runner.

If M B Models of Nottingham on 01949 850063 do not have one then they will be impossible to obtain.

Your best bet would be to fabricate a driveshaft out of brass rod.

Happy modelling
