Hello, I am thinking about getting one for my son, has anyone ever imported one from the uSA and if so was it any good and will it run on UK electic current. I know nothing about O gauge!!

I'm not an 0 gauge expert, but I vaguely recall a mention of this model a bit before Christmas.

Try looking in the '0, G and larger gauges. Garden Railways and Live Steam' section or using the search facility the Forum has and see if that brings you any results.
