hi upnick I dont' know if you are still having problems with the dcc installation but I found this vid that may be of help
DCC installation I think one of my garden rail vids talks about installing decoder's in vintage engines. If you still need help I'll check it out for you.

if you need plans for the loco, you may want to try asking theses places if they have plans or anything else that may help you.

QUOTE (upnick @ 8 Aug 2008, 20:39) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi steamrailuk,

Many thanks for the link helps the research more i have got a farish 3F dcc'd ready for the bodywork to be formed more in keeping with the loco than the scratchbuilt one i bought at the start of this project, the 3F needs some weight adding for the chassis to run well on DCC the same as some 08's i have found.

I was in York the other weekend but didnt get a chance to go to the NRM properly ............... a trip there combined with a visit to my sister would be good idea.

very good, whats it like inside the nrm? been many years since i last went.

a full trip to the main hall would reveal what is there now.
dont recall seeing that bullied pacific when i was last there, only memorable locos i saw last time i was there was Green Arrow and City of Truro apart from the nrm's permanent collection.
