Hi all

I was wondering if anyone can reccomend somewhere on the net to help me with identyfying loco's from their numbers and then possible pictures of them?

I'm interested in BR Steam loco's with the numbers;

58362, 58389, 58411, 588417, 588418, 588421.

Does anyone know which class/type/wheel set these are ?

I have tried the obvious places like Google image searches and a few railfan type places but to no avail.

I await!

best wishes

Enter the loco number in google followed by "loco" and click UK search.

You may find what you are looking for!

Genius!
Thanks very much! I tried Google and thought I had covered all topics of searching but your idea turned up trumps!!

58 362 was a loco based at Penrith shed. It was an 0-6-0 2F class built in 1887 by Mr Webb.

Many thanks - I'll sleep tonight!
