Am I unfortunate in having a model locomotive that requires a repair?
Am I correct in thinking that all current models on the market, require no repairs or servicing!
Model rail manufacturers have come a long way, with new technology and better lasting materials making all new models free of mechanical faults.
If I am correct in thinking, yesteryear repairers of model railway stocks have long gone or it could be in the price difference between new models and having a repair carried out is no longer a financial factor.
I would still appreciate help in finding a reliable person(s) who undertakes model restoration.
Brian, yes indeed "The Engine Works" and "Minitrix" is the same person and as far as I know the only person who undertakes repairs of Wrenn models.
After reading readers of this Forum comments (for which I thank you all
), I have posted off my Wrenn BB for refurbishment - the gentleman (John) informed me that he was willing to undertake necessary repair to my Wrenn model.
