No doubt a few of us will be picking up this model. Its my sort of thing and stocks are in short supply or non existant so if you are after one best to act now!

Totally amazing but this model is NOT listed on the Hornby website (or at least does not come up in a Hornby search)!

With the retro models enjoying the benefit of current Hornby production standards and improved packaging these are the finest examples of these models ever produced by Hornby.

Yet original examples still fetch big money in the secondary market!

"Made in China" may not have the same appeal as "Made in Britain" for collectors.

On the other hand "Made in China" is rapidly becoming a term used by auction houses in listings to indicate a Hornby model offered for sale in the secondary market of high quality!

So actually everybody is a winner!
