It is very nice model.

The model came with mfx digital system sounds in metal body with new softdrive sinus motor, Cat number 39180 price is about 200 EURO.

It is really value for money.

There is also 39181 with diff running number without sounds (delivery September).

It would be great idea for doubling heading.

Will we be getting a Trix variant? dbclass50 is always ready to add (yet) another 218 to his fleet.

Actually, we´ll be getting two - one with and one without sound, but with different road numbers.

None of the engines that were stationed in Lübeck, though...

Maybe my "handle should have been "DBClass218" - as I have many 218's & only a couple of 50's !

I really don't know why I bothered asking the question!

If you look closely at BritHO's and DBClass50's signatures, you will see that they both include "Euroscale" models. From this you can deduce that they know each other rather well. That in turn explains some of the comments that pass between them on the Forum.

I did realise that; I was merely poking fun at both of them with my post.

Some continental Europeans (like myself) utilize humor, satire and even sarcasm to get a point across, or - like on this occasion - make fun of the obvious. Please do forgive me. Henceforth, all my posts shall be solemn and earnest.

Duly noted. I wasn't sure if you did. Don't give up on the humour, I may get it eventually. I like to understand how people from other backgrounds think.

Thanks BritHO and dbclass50 for making me smile today

I'm still getting to grips with ME 26-06's humor, damn slippery stuff, but I think I'm getting there
