What a horrid thing to happen. I don't often attend shows where these may come up for sale though I will attend one soon so I will be on the look out as it is not often gauge 1 comes up for sale. I hope the man makes a speedy recovery and gets his stock back with no damage.

I would think it more likely that they would be sold on 'e-bay' or possibly car boot sales - the burglars would run some risk of detection if they tried selling them at a model railway show or to a dealer who might be aware of this theft.

May their fingers drop off and genitals whither and die, I can think of stronger language but it helps no one.

But if everyone keeps an eye out locally in the small ads and ebay especially, who knows.
