mamod scale

I have a Mamod steam railway set and want to make some scenery, buildings etc. What scale should I use, because although it runs on O gauge the wagons are bigger than O gauge (1:43)

Mamod stuff was roughly 16mm to the foot scale. G scale stuff might suit.

I think Mamod models are not built to a specific scale. But there is a common 'SM-32' for narrow gauge models which uses a scale of 1:19 or 16mm to 1ft - this makes the '0' gauge track equal to 2ft. Hope that helps.
