There is very little of worth at the clubhouse but its the damage thieves cab do and I believe it did happen in the past at a previous clubhouse

Saddly the world is not an honest place, so we have to protect ourselves whilst balancing the need to make ourselves known to those interested in the hobby. Our website has contact details and we try to get an idea of someones "level of interest" from the initial contact.
You make light of and mock our choice to be "secretive" but if you have ever suffered the devastation of a burglary at home or work you will know how this changes your attitude to being open about information.
That sounds very sensible bangerblueed, and I'm sorry if I sounded mocking Mainthreadmartin - not the intention*. I fully appreciate the need to take these sorts of precautions, especially as it is often the mere prospect of their being something worth stealing that makes vandals and yobs cause a huge amount of damage, aside from the glee they obviously feel in gratuitously destroying the careful work of others. If I were running a club I would be taking exactly the same measures...
Bring back hanging, or simply use a bolt-gun? Nothing wrong with occasionally skimming the scum off the surface of the melting pot of humanity I think, afterall what is 6 billion less 100 million of the worst? 6 billion!
*I just remember being part of secret societies at school and so couldn't resist extrapolating...
(I note MI6 have scrambled my link to an image of the top secret base...)
