QUOTE (upnick @ 27 Aug 2008, 20:27) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Expat
I too tried a dummy run with V2's i got from Richard, and added an led i could be wrong but as the masterswitch has a resistor built in i kept the centre correct of course but wired either side as it came so to speak, it worked fine.

Maybe Richard will come in here at some stage & explain all ?

I know this thread is an old one but some people may come across it in a search.
if you are using a Masterswitch to switch 2 Peco or Seep motors PLEASE use the diodes provided otherwise you will damage your Masterswitch. Take it from someone who knows

I have about twenty points on the main part of my layout & will probably have another ten or so on my terminus. They are fitted with both Peco & Seep motors.I will be using the Masterswitch as it will be very suitable for what I want. Richard is very kindly helping me with my wiring diagrams.
The reason I brought up about using the provided diodes was because the information on their use comes on an extra instruction sheet. I used a couple of Masterswitches Plus that came from a friend & did not contain the extra instructions. I wanted to change two point motors at once.I blew two switches before I opened a new pack & discovered the diode instructions. Using the provided diodes my test panel worked very well.
