I have a free Skaledale/Lyddle End catalogue by Hornby in which each building has its measurements- width by depth- in millimetres. Someone such as myself might find this useful if trying to allocate space on a layout for a particular building.

I tried it out with the Fine Foods Supermarket (R8750), which in the catalogue says Width=75mm, Depth=130mm. My ruler doesn't measure in millimetres so I went to centimetres, for example, 75cm would be 7.5mm, but they don't seem to match up to what it says in the catalogue.
