In this months Continental Modeller there was an article about a collosal DCC controlled HO layout of Berlin loctaed in Berlin. The website is at
Berlin Loxx

This is quite amazing and is similar to the Minature Wonderland in Hamburg except that this model is of the city of Berlin. There were sopmje amazing statistics about this layout including that it has over 45,000 trees. The website has some video items and other details. If you are over in Berlin on holiday or whatever this is somewhere you really must see.

QUOTE (Geoff Booth @ 9 Feb 2008, 20:03) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>The other DCC model might be one that I saw under construction at the Deutsches Technikmuseum. This is also a great day out (trains, planes, automobiles and a whole lot more) and the railway element is based in what were the Anhalter loco sheds (2 adjacent semicircular buildings). The model was replicating (exactly as far as I could tell) the area around the sheds and the approach to what was the old Hauptbahnhof up to 1945. There was still a lot to do but the team working on it looked happy enough! If that isn't enough the museum even has its own brewery - can't get much better than that...

Is that the one that has an HO scale model of Berlin Anhalter railway station? I saw an article on this in the 2004 Trix Profi dvd and it is truly awesome.
