Seen on fellow forum this asks whether you missed something that you regret.

I did miss a Bachmann GCR Director Butler Henderson so bought a Mons, then of course along came Butler Henderson my dad's favourite loco who he said one day he was left on the footplate to take it to Doncaster on his own. so I did buy it and have both.

I would like an SDR 0-4-4t by Bachmann but have never seen one, even the ordinary ones have sound so are expensive.
an 2-8-0 7F SDR No 88 also a miss. although the 2-8-0's were only ever black.

Otherwise not so bad I have had most of what I ever wanted that has been mass produced.

I am a bit here with Adrian and as usual 34c because I dislike buying list price, I do not buy duplicate numbers although I find Bachmann ones easy to change, indeed after father passed I found I had a couple dozen duplicate numbers mainly of 9F, B1, O4 etc so of the 24 odd duplicates I sold my Austerities as they were knackered and a DCC version had appeared so I re-equipped.
Some models seem hard to find such as the Black 5, I bought one last weekend at Exeter show but it had a duff motor, I thought this was likely as the price was a bit too cheap, I only wanted a working chassis as it was an LMS one so we can get caught.
Where I depart from Adrian regards multiple locos of a single type, on small production locos then yes but on Black 5, 9F, B1 etc where there were hundreds that lasted nearly to the end then I have 4 or more but again these are a very well known types and hence they are known good performers.

Well I have a cheat in a way because there were my originals then the ones re-allocated from my fathers railway Halderfax, so automatically I had pretty much double numbers of Black 5's B1's and 9F's and some others, in fact I sold out a few to Hattons to re-equip with less worn out locos with dcc sockets such as my austerities, so in your case 34C I would have done much the same.

+30% sounds a bit cheap you are looking at more like up to 100% in some cases the Black 5 looks about £250 and there are locos around the £300 mark. Sams Trains does a decent summary so I will not repeat that as he does it really rather well, bit of a mixed bag though.
