QUOTE (poliss @ 13 May 2008, 14:20) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Whilst looking at the NMRA website I noticed the JAM Creations Stealth Track Cleaners/Maintainers. http://www.jamcreations.net/Cleaners_Maintainers.htm Has anyone tried them? Also on the JAM website is a very interesting video of the proposed 220mph California High Speed Rail Project. http://www.jamcreations.net/railroading.htm
superb video, At last the states has woken up to the need for greener travel, I like the way they have used the british, french and japanise traina to illustrate the technology.

The Stealth Trackcleaner/maintainers seem to use the same principle of the Fleishmann Wagon & a few others. They do help to maintain clean track but there are few cleaners, our experience that will actually clean dirty track just by letting them run round (Lux & Tomix, to name a couple, but they are not cheap).
