QUOTE (BRITHO @ 28 Dec 2007, 22:15) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I've just been looking at those 70's Hornby catalogue images again and a few things crossed my mind. Firstly the way father and son are cluttering up the baseboard with tools amd models I would be surprised if they ever finished building it. Oh, and exactly what is he trying to drill with a bit that size while his son appears to be attempting to cut his own fingers off? I do however still have a much modified and detailed version of the featured signal box which will eventually appear on Nether Sennet.

The "Hornby" construction kits are definetely sourced from a continental manufacturer, but is any one able to say which one? My first thought was Pola (before they were swallowed into Faller)

Regards

**Definately from Pola. I had that station and the quirky little coal bins with crane under the Pola Brand many, many years ago.
