Model Rail's Chris Leigh is 60!
Happy birthday to Chris Leigh. Still not bus pass time though. I wonder if Chris will eventually travel by bus when he gets his free pass?
Why I find this so amazing is that Chris has been contributing to model railway publishing since the age of 16 when he started taking 1000's of photographs of locomotives and railways generally and had several top selling railway books published in the 1960's with the first being published in 1965 at the age of just 19!
A career spanning 44 years as a leading contributer to railway modelling is just incredible.
In his editorial in the 100th souvenir issue of Model Rail Chris sets out the changes he has seen within the hobby over the 44 years and it does make interesting reading.
What will the next 44 years bring?
