It's the new year - happy new year to everyone -
The post might be moved but I thought anyone visiting Berlin might be interested in a couple of model railway shopping
places. I am sure their are others in Berlin but I have visited two. Both are within walking distance of Berlin Zoologischer Garten station which is handy if you fly in to Tegel airport
as the airport bus goes straight to Zoologischer Garten.

Turberg

Really nice shop, hundreds of loco's on display, all scales, fancy a Marklin gauge 1 together with the matching coaches !
You will need a healthy credit card if you visit. Sister shops next door sell cars & planes and across the road has a mixture
but some specially discounted ho stuff. No secondhand.

Michas Bahnhof

A smallish shop packed with all sorts of goodies in every nook & crany. Loads of secondhand loco's & track etc etc as well as some new.
Usually a table on the pavement outside the shop with secondhand european buildings for sale. The shop is a bit upside down inside but fun to explore
