I am looking at moden era trains, which have a pantograph system. Does anybody know who makes the system which is live or is it best to use the track power an make a dead one

Have a look at Viessmann

www.viessmann-modell.de

They make a good reasonable priced selection including "H" section masts, suitable for UK models.

If you want further info then please send me a PM.

Hope this helps.

Hiya

Are you looking at british prototypes?

I use Sommerfeldt ones with modified heads and bases for the Stone Faverley type

Or Hurst models ones for the Brecknall Willis High speed type

The Sommerfeldt ones are RTR but the Hurst ones are a (somewhat difficult to build) kit
