Hi Guys,

I need some help and can't find the details I need in my own referece library.

I am going to be running a Motorail servive on my layout but am having trouble finding any details of the flat wagons (carflats?) used to carry the cars. I know they were often built on redundant coach underframes, but that is all. I particularily need details of the loading ramps and decking arrangements.

Any help gratefully received.

Doug, I don't think I'll have the space to do a terminal, but its a thought for the future!!

John, the minic car carrier was crude in the extreme as it could, if i remember correctly, only carry one car, the prototype I believe carried four. The ramp at Dover was, I know, an old Maunsell underframe. This was cut up in about 1998, I stoll have one of the axlebox covers.

Further info on these vehicles will be gratefully received.
