Moxley

This layout is on one board about 55" long with a traverser and a fixed loco release at the other end of it so I can get at the back of spare stock without having to lift the loco off the track.

The back scene is made from photographs I took in the Don Valley area of Sheffield, the sky is just photoshopped in.

That looks extremely nice indeed to me. Trying to work out exactly where you took the photographs.

Have a feeling the smaller the locomotive the more it benefits from a larger scale. The 0-4-0T looks good in 7mm per foot whereas smaller scales might not do it justice.
Hello Richard,

Thanks for your very nice comment.

The pics were taken just off Attercliffe Road I just wandered around a bit until I found something that looked a bit derelict.

The loco is Bristol from the Chronicles of Boultons siding, the wheels are old Hornby with every other spoke cut out, a card chassis and styrene body.

You are the gentleman that hand builds your wagons and locos, using cardboard. I saw you at a show and was seriously impressed by your skills. Great work.
