MRF Nürnberg Report - Preiser

Preiser is one of those companies that looks to be doing well. Amazing that a company can specialise in the production of miniature figures for model railway layouts. It seems that the stand this year is bigger and better than the one last year. An indication of growth in the sector...?

I think too that what people model on their layouts reflects the inner self and sometimes the naughty side of us comes out. I can just imagine some of these Bavarians adding little 2cm nude figures all over their models.

All of the above are HO. These images below are from the 1:22 scale range. Good for G-scale scenes.

Where do you think the scene at the top right (45146) could be used on the layout...

It's amazing what you can get with these figures. They really seem to have all aspects of life covered. These figures really bring your layout to life.

Absolutely, Preiser are superb quality, and although HO are easily used on OO layouts if carefully positioned, they also make far better passengers than OO figures (which are frequently too tall anyway) I have bought several boxes of the unpainted figures which are excellent value at around £15.00.

I would suggest the location of the figures as in the kitchen near the washing machine - after all every picture tells a story!

Regards
