QUOTE (wiggy25 @ 10 Jun 2008, 09:30) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>As you may notice I have written quite a few posts lately, and they seem to be getting earlier!!

A few years ago after I couldn't walk, had the MRI scan which confirmed that I had a prolapsed disk, what joy!
Went to physio and after 12weeks seemed to be on the mend, until the last 5 weeks when it's been getting steadily worse.

Did you consider going to a chiropractor as well as a physio? Sometimes they're able to get things back properly, and the physio then helps get strength back. Just a thought.

QUOTE (Makemineadouble @ 28 Jun 2008, 13:00) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I find reflexoligy gives me the most relief, my advise is stay away from Chiropractors as they often over work stained disc's and joints. I don't lift anything over 5kg if I can avoid it, I'm careful how I lift things, and I except that my back will never ever be supple again.
. Good luck with your treatment, and consider reflexoligy it works for me.

Totally second that, very good luck with the op. Knowing that it's a slipped disc, a chiropractor would likely make things worse.
