I started out with an idea for the an end to end layout in N gauge using Kato Uni-track using a 4 track plan.

The layout is based on a modern 90's to now diesel era.
I'm not only dealing with freight stock but I am also wanting to create a small station area that I can run passenger services with midland mainline and GNER passenger services as well as a nuclear train ran by a DRS class 37 and 20 service.
There is a small diesel fuelling point that is run by EWS as well a shunting yard with 2 mainlines and a line that leads to sheds and maintenance area where Hst power units and and coaches are overhauled.
There are 2 coal trains 1 ran by ews 66's and also a small coal run with class 60's to a local power station.
