Hi, Guys,

Onto something much happier!

I am wanting to 3 link coupling 17 lococs and about 14 wagons. Can anybody tell me what are the nicest looking 3 links couplings I can buy for British stock (loco screw link and wagon chain) and where to get them from.

Hi,

Have you tryed Howes models ( www.howesmodels.co.uk ), they have a selection in their catalogue made by Smiths.

I have put their 3 link instanters on some Cambrian wagon kits. They work well, and look the part for what I want. Smiths also do Screw type and normal 3 link kits.

Other shops will stock Smiths Coupling kits, but Howes are the only mail order shop that I have used to get them, likewise local shops may well have them, but not sure where you are local to?

Again, I guess that other people will make couplings, but like I say, I've only used these because they looked the part and did the job for me.
