I have recently acquired this limited edition 4 volume boxed set covering the last few years of steam in the 1960's.
Contains some superb photography. Black and white and colour.
I would be interested to hear if other steam fans have these volumes and what they think of them.
Details of the publication can be found here.

QUOTE (Terry Pink @ 30 Dec 2018, 20:46) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Stunning, absolutely stunning production. Beautifully printed but unfortunately in Poland. Well worth double the sum paid.
Yes-totally agree.
Very nostalgic for me-As I was a keen loco spotter at the same time as the MNA guys were taking photo's..
Just got half way through vol 1. Read every word so far.
Spent most Saturdays at Doncaster watching Gresley loco's.
Crewe visits for me were few and far between.
I lived in South Yorkshire and it was a right journey to get there on a non school day.
Bus to Barnsley-Then Bus to Penistone-Then Woodhead route to Manchester Piccadilly, then on to Crewe.
Worth it though to ride the 'Woodhead' and see Duchess class loco's at Crewe, and get around the three sheds.
Aah,those were the days!
