QUOTE If you look at post 3618 on the Dover Priory thread you will see that there is a fair amount of weeds and grass on track in real life so I wouldn't be overly bothered - railway lines are rarely pristine in reality.

QUOTE (Big Dave @ 28 Sep 2013, 09:13) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I think it depends . on a main line it would be a lot more clear of weeds than a branch line will be

Nicely said Dave and besides Anthony the thread owner knew the context of my reply! !

Kind regards

A bit more tree progress and I have started on the shaded tree area and some fencing, I have also put some ballast down in the tunnel entrance area. I am hoping to spend some time this weekend getting a bit more done :)

That is lovely! Really impressed by the transition between 2D & 3D.

I had bought one of these backscenes for my railway but hadn't realised how tall it was. When I got home I found out it was twice the height I needed & there was no sensible way of trimming it, so it's now rolled up waiting for the project at my new house.

Looking really good Anthony and nice to see you've put the brown paper down to protect the track and ballast this time!

Kind regards

Paul

Cheers, Chris.

Thanks Chris, I might even get this section finished before your rebuild as I see you have pulled a lot of yours back up to add sections ...

LOL, I'm sure you will finish before me!

My layout has been and still is, 'dynamic/fluid/ad-hoc', but I'm finally getting to the point of getting everything in, with such a small space.

My problem is that I learn more, before I finish anything!

Cheers, Chris.
