A bit more tree progress and I have started on the shaded tree area and some fencing, I have also put some ballast down in the tunnel entrance area. I am hoping to spend some time this weekend getting a bit more done

That is lovely! Really impressed by the transition between 2D & 3D.

I had bought one of these backscenes for my railway but hadn't realised how tall it was. When I got home I found out it was twice the height I needed & there was no sensible way of trimming it, so it's now rolled up waiting for the project at my new house.

My layout has been and still is, 'dynamic/fluid/ad-hoc', but I'm finally getting to the point of getting everything in, with such a small space.

My problem is that I learn more, before I finish anything!
