I didn't make it to B&Q dt sorry

But here are the photos from the lines into and out of the station area that I did get to complete:-

View from the approach to the south side of the station

I still have one line to complete and this will feed 2 platforms.

South end lines :-

Station lines, I have 5 platform lines and 2 express/Freight though lines :-

Sorry this one is a bit wonky lol

North end station exit these lines will be hidden as there will be a raised town section over this corner :-

That's it for now as I am out of fine track pins.... ill have to drop into Peters Spares tomorrow

Thanks for the videos. Very smooth level tracklaying, no shimmy of wagons at all ! Wish I could lay track as well as that!

QUOTE (silky_jack @ 11 Oct 2012, 09:26) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi Anthony,

What points are you using on the curves? I have always been nervous of using curved points as I always seem to get derailments etc. Yours look a lot more reliable though.

Hi Ian, I'm useing Peco code 100 SL 87 & 88 Streamline curved points.

I did have curved points on my old layout and l did have problems with them but they were the set track ones and seemed to be a tighter curve than the ones I'm useing now but the main reason that these ones work is down to how I have installed them I believe ......

And by this I mean I have used track setters to align the track to the point so at each side the track is in line with the point and not off set I have also made sure that the change in direction is constant ( as much as possible ) and to date this has paid off as all the loco's and rolling stock I have ran have worked without issues.

I would also like to point out I'm checking all my loco's and rolling stock wheel Back to Backs as this is one of the main causes I found whith loco's and stock de railing...

Hi Anthony When you checked your b2b what did you find? When checking mine i found they came out at 14.2.
Did you buy the whole set of Tracksetta and how much did you pay?
I'm glad that you decided to use the whole garage it shows in a model that has great potential and i must say is looking good so far. I'm a steam buff and not really into modern but i like what doing and have been following your progress thanks for sharing. Cheers Jim
