New Hornby HST

Hi Guys, Just been trying out my new Hornby HST Power Cars I got the DCC fitted as I will be getting a Controller in January. So tried it out with DC controller. I seem to have a fault with it, going forward is fine but when in reverse going slow it is jerking but ok at a faster speed, its not the track, anyone had a similar problem?. Also I noticied that the third front white light is at the wrong side, looking at it front on it should be on the left, mine is on the right. Other than these few things I think that Hornby as done a fantastic job of the power cars. Well done Hornby.

hi i think hornby
should bring more different liverys
out in 2009 such as the first great
western dynamic lines hst, also
midland mainline tangerine livery
also neon livery (fgw) and also merlin
livery (GW) and *** packet livery (FGW)
that would be a dream come true the
more popular liverys

Almost certainly new colours will appear. however I'd hazard a guess on

First GW Dynamic Lines
XC Maroon Pink
National express east coast White/Grey.

I suppose one or so could appear in the Railroad range (using the ex LIMA powercars) , or in a trainset.

hopefully some power cars might
come out some not even expected
such as fgw neon livery 2006 and
maybe midland mainline green ,
*** packet or ivory merlin livery
or new XC hst
some might shine in the
2 car train set

hi guys,

i just looked at ehattons.com and the pictures of the new gner hst powercars are on, i dont know about you but the blue looks too light and was the roof blue, i have always painted mine black. i painted some mk3's ready for the powercars but the gner blue i used is more like the real thing and much darker and reflective. so this means that i will have to re-paint the new powercars that i have just paid £109 for. is it just me but after paying that, you should not need to do anything but put a driver and a chip in.
