Hi everyone just joined today based in the UK Doncaster area and looking to join a model rail club does anyone know of any such clubs in this area as I have been unable to find one as yet. I have been back into model trains now for the last 4 yrs and am presently working on an N scale layout photos of this are posted on another site, have not added a link as I`m not sure this is allowed. My main reason for joining is to gain as much information as I can, as im still quite a newbie to this hobby.

Hello Frank,

Welcome to the MRF, N scale is wonderful - what do you model on your layout? There are lots of helpful people here so I'm sure you'll get plenty of sound advice, and not too much waffle (my speciality). Perhaps you could give us something to search giggle with to locate your pictures without you having to mention rmweb any names...whoops!

Hi Frank,

Welcome to the forum, particularly so as you are another N Gauger.

I am also a relative newbie but have found the guys (& gals) here to be very friendly and helpful. let us have a bit more info about yourslf re. your layout era etc. Are you DC or DCC if you'll excuse the familiarity ??

Best regards,

Expat.

Thanks for the welcome. Im not working on any particular era, my intention is to have the trains run on dcc but will be operating points via a control panel.
