hi,
i'm called caolan McWilliams and more or less completely new to model RR.
i got a hornby set when i was about 10, used it for a while and then went back to slot cars.
now i'm getting interested again as i found my uncles old set in my grannys attic and it is big.
the track is from the 70-80's and is in decent condition.
i plan to build a large layout in the garage but i dont know were to start or what makes an interesting track.
it probably wont be very scenic because it is in my grannys which is a 2 hour drive from my house and i dont have a large budget (i'm still into slotcars).
this is a bit of a strange thing for me to do =, but i'm up for the challenge and any help on layouts, restoration etc. would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
caolan.
