hi,
i'm called caolan McWilliams and more or less completely new to model RR.
i got a hornby set when i was about 10, used it for a while and then went back to slot cars.
now i'm getting interested again as i found my uncles old set in my grannys attic and it is big.
the track is from the 70-80's and is in decent condition.
i plan to build a large layout in the garage but i dont know were to start or what makes an interesting track.
it probably wont be very scenic because it is in my grannys which is a 2 hour drive from my house and i dont have a large budget (i'm still into slotcars).
this is a bit of a strange thing for me to do =, but i'm up for the challenge and any help on layouts, restoration etc. would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
caolan.

I'm sure if you have a look back through the forum you will get some good idea's, also try to get to some exhibitions or shows (general rather than specialist) for more insperation.

Hi Caolan and welcome'

I feel sure you'll fit right in - we mostly have other interests as well.

Any problems - just ask and someone will be along with the answer.

Regards
