I had considered soldering the FNAs, but at the end of the day they are the only whitemetal kits I have or are likely to buy at the mo, so the cost would have been prohibitive. That said I am still looking at signalling and may have to get a soldering iron anyway! D'oh! Forward planning was never my strong point!

Good advice on soldering ... while you are purchasing an iron get a pot of flux the solder will flow a lot better.
