I had a screaming with a class 37 farish on one bogie from new and ran it in well for about on a track varying the speed at intervals now it runs better than ever and silent compared, i cant comment on yours as i dont do OO locos but it is a good idea to run in locos for an hour each way to settle the gearing, i do it on my loco tester.
