Those big spiders have very good eyesight If they see you they normally run away

In a rental house, I had a laundry at the back of the house it was always populated by 5 or 6 of the little beasties
as soon as you came in they would run for cover

Its the little Black ones with the red stripe you have to worry about they love to live in sheds and tunnels and will bite
