Hi,
I have been a member of the forum for a while, but have never got round to saying hello. So hello to you all.

My name is Peter, originally from East Kent but moved to the edge of Wensleydale in North Yorkshire in 1977.

I try to model the Southern Region of my boyhood (1950's), worked on the Southern Region from 1961 -1968.

Thanks for all the good wishes, now to answer some questions.

Doug

I model the South Eastern Division of the Southern Region. The area is west of Ramsgate at a place called
Pegwell Bay, where in the late 60's Hoverlloyd operated SRN 4's to Calais. I have laid the track and wired it for DCC.

If ever you are in Hawes the Ceamery is worth a visit.

Richard D

I worked in the South Eastern Division Office in Queen Street, EC4.
I was a clerk in the Engine Diagrams and Drivers Roster Section. I was lucky because in my time we still had steam in Kent, only just. I worked mainly on EMU drivers rosters.

Hope this all helps,

Peter
