If it's the older "iron curtain" model it does have coarse wheel flanges & probably will not run very well - the mechanism is poor on these versions although it is quite a pleasant looking model.

I have the Trix SNCB version of the 0-8-0 tender loco - it is a superb runner & very powerful.

Some of the earlier Fleischmann 55's have quite coarse wheels too.

Ah, but it gets confusing because what we know as a "tank" locomotive is a "tenderlok" elseware !
