Although better known for Bagpuss it has been announced that Oliver Postgate, the creator of Ivor the Engine, has died in Broadstairs at the age of 83.

I wonder how many of us grew up watching the adventures of Ivor?

I most certainly did and they were great times indeed just good old fashioned nice and pleasant programmes.

I also loved the Clangers and Bagpuss. The Good Old Days indeed.

I remember Bagpuss, the Clangers and Noggin the Nog, but I don't remember Ivor the Engine. Not sure why...
