An interesting additional little project you now seem to have on your hands. Those small gauge engines really do look good, even if they won’t play nicely with the girder bridge at the moment !
In terms of your question / views on which bridge, I too would tend to agree with David’s view, that the simpler style of the concrete (or even a timber version), just seems more in keeping with the narrow gauge theme - no doubt lots of photos to blow that feeling / opinion out of the water; but you did ask lol !
Also given the splendid steelwork arch span bridge in the background on your 2nd recent photo of the narrow gauge area being laid out, it does definitely give the “poor relation†feeling a lot of credence too.
Anyway good luck with the ponderings, and look forward to further updates / progress.
