A simple question, only i dont know the answer, im looking to replace the driving and bogie wheels on an old Hornby Dublo 2-6-4 tank loco, can any point me in the right direction? many thanks.

Markits wheels are the Mfrs of Romford and Markits wheels. Self quartering and available with a nice profile. They also do axles for Hornby (Knurled for gears etc) and I'm sure for Duble too. Mark Arscott is the owner - telephone them and he'l ladvise you. His mail order is fast.

Thats great - I'm pleased it was of help.

One of the bigger headaches in the hobby is finding where the things are that we need - so never hesitate to ask, there'll always be someone here who knows where they are hiding
