PECO Code 55 Track Suppliers - Australia

Can any of our Australian based members point me to a vendor (preferably in Sydney, but I'll settle for anywhere in Australia) that sells PECO code 55 track? So far, everywhere I've been only sells code 80.

then click on PECO at the FILTER BY MANUFACTURER link at right to go straight to CODE 55 at top of list.

Frontline hobbies at Newcastle, NSW. I have found them to be quite prompt with my mail orders to QLD..

The Signal Box holds my all time record for mail order from Europe to Australia (I model German H0, using PECO code 75 track). In a drunken frenzy late on a Saturday night I ordered a load of PECO track (points mainly) and it arrived in the mail (in the Illawarra) the Thursday following. Do not be afraid of ordering track from them.

Locally, Hobbyco in QVB , for example, has a very limited range, All Aboard in Mittagong always has a fair bit - I haven't been to the others mentioned.

I totally agree about ordering from the UK. I've got a fair bit of track to order once we get our house sorted - we recently returned from a one year work assignment in the UK - and I'm trying to figure out whether it is cheaper to order items from the UK and pay the postage or order locally.

So far, it seems the former is the cheaper option, particularly if the order is large!
