In a drunken frenzy late on a Saturday night I ordered a load of PECO track (points mainly) and it arrived in the mail (in the Illawarra) the Thursday following. Do not be afraid of ordering track from them.
Locally, Hobbyco in QVB , for example, has a very limited range, All Aboard in Mittagong always has a fair bit - I haven't been to the others mentioned.
