The Big Boy should run on any 'Code' of track 75, 83 or 100. It's the radius of the bends that you have to watch out for as it is a long loco.

The Big Boy can be used on curved track with a minimum radius of 360 mm / 14-3/16", but larger radius curves of 20" or greater are recommended due to overhang.

I've got one of these and am running it on Pecvo code 100 track. Like Doug says it's the radius that you need to look out for. In the manual there is a section which advises on the clearance you need for any given radius. But as general advise the larger curve you can give the better and avoid turnouts and steep gradients.
