QUOTE (chris holley @ 4 Oct 2006, 03:53) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>hi all, iam looking into a uk layout but with the exeption off running old american steam train trix big boy? i cant find much about the track to run it on, would che code 83 track be ok with it?? the uk oo ill use standard hornby track i want another line next to it to run the big boy
I've got one of these and am running it on Pecvo code 100 track. Like Doug says it's the radius that you need to look out for. In the manual there is a section which advises on the clearance you need for any given radius. But as general advise the larger curve you can give the better and avoid turnouts and steep gradients.
