peco turntable

please help ,iwould like to use the turntable on a dcc layout,im going to move it manually for now. its the changes in the + _ as it goes round. will this cause short cicuirts please help

Hi, I have recently just fitted a peco turntable to my DCC layout and it works fine (however I only use 1 line in 1 line out). However you must make sure that when lined up with each track the correct wiring is done; you must check that each rail is of the same side as the turntable, like with DC. Hope this helps.

Hi Neilf,

I raised the same question a couple of weeks back. If you look in the N Gauge Forum you will see a thread on TURNTABLE CONTROL which you might find useful. The semi-circular contact rings automatically resolve any ploarity problems provided you position the gap correctly.
