Hi
I should have said Welcome to the forum.
If you could precise how far away from edge of baseboard the turntable is, and if you plan to work it with a meccano-like structure or other.
If you don't know, someone will find a result.
Regards,
Ben

Hi Tateypie and welcome to the MRF.

I think what you are looking for is the Frizinghall Kit, which is basically a set of Meccano parts. They also do a motorised version, which is the one I have.

This is the link to the page on the modelshop.uk web site

http://www.modelrailshop.co.uk/acatalog/On..._65.html#aTTD00

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Pretty easy to do, but don't if at all possible attach the motor and gearbox to the turntable. The turntable base will act like a drumskin, and you will hear all the gear noise. Mount the motor on a solid strut below the turntable instead. A very similar motor and gearbox kit and separate worm and pinion are available from Maplins if an alternative drive source is required.
