Did anyone see the item on BBC News last evening with a story about a lab in Cambridge who have been experimenting with developing plastic chips to replace silicon chips.

They seem to think it is only a matter of time before we have chips with everything and being plastic should be cheap to produce.

DCC looks even more promising now. Manuafacturers could build the decoder into the injection moulded body?

Was also given space on the Anglia TV local news tonight, Cambridge being in that region. Little detail, eccept they were saying a an A4 page sized display the thickness of a paperback could allow you to read a complete library anywhere.

If only "Tomorrow's World" was still running. If it appeared on that, then we'd know what its future prospects were!
