Did anyone see the item on BBC News last evening with a story about a lab in Cambridge who have been experimenting with developing plastic chips to replace silicon chips.
They seem to think it is only a matter of time before we have chips with everything and being plastic should be cheap to produce.
DCC looks even more promising now. Manuafacturers could build the decoder into the injection moulded body?
